Does it intimidate you when someone wants you but doesn't need you?

Personally, I'd feel special. And relaxed because I'm not really needed lol

You want smth bcs it is desirable
You need smth bcs you depend on it
The latter makes the other person more vulnerable whereas the former puts pressure on you to maintain that desirability
