Does it intimidate you when someone wants you but doesn't need you?

Personally, I'd feel special. And relaxed because I'm not really needed lol

It doesn’t intimidate me, but long-term I want functional interdependent collaboration, not two independent people mostly living parallel. Younger me would get insecure/distressed by the unevenness. Older me wishes I could go back in time to reassure myself that there are lots of people out there who want what I wanted out of life and a connection without having to settle.
