It was the 70's and i was a kid of about 10-12.. Yeah i remember when this song came out on the radio.. Top music and good song.. But it took a while to see a video of them.. I understand why they where a one hit wonder,, they where pretty dorky looking bunch of guys, most people are into image and do not ratr substance too high.. So no matter how good your song is, if you where dorks then you are not in the cool bracket and therefore rejected..

@Adstar I think back in the 70s, at least until the disco era really got into full swing, how you looked didn’t really matter as much, as long as the music was good. I wish that was still true today, where image seem to take precedence

@Ghostinthemachine Well when Radio was the main promoter of music.. Your success was 100% linked to the quality of the music you produced because most people would have no idea how you looked.. But after programs like MTV started your visual presence became a factor.. That's when you started to get the dancing models types with the voices electronically boosted artificially being promoted..
