"Rockin' in the Free World" by Neil Young

It's crazy to think the '80s had been a really bad decade for Neil Young with him doing all these experimental albums that tanked badly and then an embarrassing reunion with Crosby, Stills and Nash with American Dream. Then within a year after that, he starts dishing out some of the best material in his career like this song. He was one last of many over-the-hill rockstars to have a tremendous comeback in the '80s, and at just the right time with rise of alternative rock! Sure he was an old timer even back then, but the new generation of rock bands embraced him fully as the Godfather of Grunge. A whole tribute album by such bands was dedicated to him and he even did an album with Pearl Jam. Neil Young was back walking among giants. 😎
