My sister recorded a cover of this song with her old band many years back, shortly after her first daughter was born. She plans on showing it to her when she’s a teenager. Luckily, her daughter happens to enjoy this song too, even if she’s too young to understand what it’s about yet. But once the time comes when her mom shows her her version, I think it’ll hit her girl right in the feels. ☺️
