A friend of Christina Grimmie (an amazing youtuber and singer who was unfortunately shot and killed by a fan weeks ago) wrote a beautiful song for her. I don't usually cry from songs, but when he started to cry I did too because you can just sense the pain.

Sadly, her death was just the tip of the iceberg for Orlando that weekend. So many senseless deaths, and yet again from the same type of gun. Will it ever end? I guess we can never lose hope... because if hope is lost, then everything is lost.

Living close by to Orlando, I can say it really hits everyone here hard that so many lives (50) had to be taken way too soon because of two sick individuals who decided to hurt others. The night club mass shooting could have been prevented sadly, but the perpetrators wife did nothing to stop him even though she knew about it. So many people lost because of a sick, sick person. It seems unfair and it's hard not to think that this could happen anywhere and to anyone. But alas, like you said we can't lose hope or else everything is lost.
