About Taylor Swift s wedding ......

Reports claim that Taylor Swift is eyeing a small , intimate wedding ceremony in her Rhode Island mansion .Those same reports claimed that Travis Kelce was hoping for a huge , elaborate blow out.Why can't they have both ? I'm not an expert on weddings ,but as I understand it ,there's no law that state the wedding and the reception have to be held in the same place .Couldn't they have their intimate Rhode Island wedding ,and then hold a huge blowout of a reception in ,for instance ,Kansas City ?I see no reason why this couldn't work .
