My Song of the day

1970 Creedance Clearwater Revival

To honor the US military. The best in the world. Thank you.

Thought I heard a rumblin'
Calling to my name
Two hundred million guns are loaded
Satan cries, "Take aim"

You don't know what that song really means, huh?
lostlissa · 36-40, F
@DearAmbellina2113 i think it is about gun control in the US. And you are probably referring to the University of Texas tower shooting.

lostlissa · 36-40, F

@lostlissa You are correct. Fogerty was writing about guns in America not Vietnam. The Vietnam interpretation came from the song being overlaid on Vietnam video. That was my era.
