Any rock or gem lovers that could tell me what this is?

I found it on the floor among the dirt in a car junkyard yesterday 馃し it's kinda neat looking.

I guess some sort of jasper. Or tigers eye if it shimmers in the light
QueenOfTheNerds41-45, F
@caPnNathanael I鈥檇 guess the same.
@caPnNathanael it has little slivers that shimmer in the light. It's almost like a golden shine to it
caPnNathanael26-30, M
@ChiefWalksWith40oz cool. I wonder if it's mixed then. I thought I saw it shine in the first photo
Starcrossed41-45, F
Jasper. I'm not sure it's tigers eye. Does it look holographic when you move it in front of the light?
[I can probably send a video of a tigers eye doing what I'm talking about if you want].
@Starcrossed oh yeah, it does 馃憣 it drives like that one. What does that mean it is?
Starcrossed41-45, F
@ChiefWalksWith40oz tiger/cats eye.

I'd bet it's probably mixed with jasper.

Sweet find!
@Starcrossed nice 馃槍 it has one small little strip in it that looks very light blue & see through. It's different than the rest of the color on it

Going to reply with the same answer as everyone else because why not, but I'll do it with a song.

@Benjago lol I have that song memorized because I had to sing it for a school concert in middle school 馃槄
Definitely looks like Tiger eye.
@bijouxbroussard interesting 馃 I'm looking up pictures of that now & it does look like that's what it is
JohnnySpot56-60, M

Petrified wood
@JohnnySpot petrified wood is kinda like fossils of wood right? Do you know how old it might be?
DavidScott51-55, M
It's a rock
I like the group this is in 馃槃
Also... if it's tiger eye it's supposed to have healing properties 馃憤
@Lilymoon thanks 馃槄
It does seem pretty cool from what I've been reading. I'm probably gonna cleanse it & keep it around me 馃し idk, seems worth trying
@ChiefWalksWith40oz defo keep it... 馃憣
Like others said looks like tiger eye
@Gaiia that does seem to be the popular answer rn 馃槄
Spumoni46-50, M
@ChiefWalksWith40oz I rarely see any pieces larger than a dime. You done good
Spumoni46-50, M
Tiger Eye most likely. Good find
@Spumoni I'm surprised I saw it 馃槍 seemed easy to miss
It looks like tiger's eye to me but I'm no expert.
huskyguy8931-35, M
Tigers eye was also my thought.
ChipmunkErnie70-79, M
No idea, but it's pretty.
@ChipmunkErnie it is, I like it 馃憣
Most likely an jasper.
DearAmbellina211341-45, F
Tiger's Eye
@DearAmbellina2113 I've been googling it & I'm pretty convinced by now that it's tiger's eye. Pretty cool 馃憖 I'm gonna google how to properly cleanse it
@JohnnySpot what are those?
JohnnySpot56-60, M
@ChiefWalksWith40oz the first one appears to be an authentic ancient tool. the second one said to be a grinding stone once inside the stomach of a dinosaur as birds swallow small pebbles to this day
@JohnnySpot oh wow that's really cool. So one could've been used by an earlier human species & the other was swallowed by a dinosaur 馃槷
@deathfairy nice, thanks for the pic 馃檹 I kinda wanna Google more to see what it's about or where it comes from
It's a guitar pick from mediaeval times
@AthenaArena ooo medieval guitars were the best
