The cultural highlight of the summer holidays
Is a trip to Wembley Stadium to see K-Pop girl ensemble Blackpink. My colleague is taking his daughter, my daughter, and a couple of friends. Following his cowardly eleventh-hour abandonment of me at the Taylor Swift concert last year, I will not be accompanying him.

Him: Actually these Blackpink songs don't sound too too bad.
Me: Wait til you've heard them twenty times, plus tuneless interpretations by the teens, you'll be booking yourself into rehab . .
Him: And the girls are mature enough to behave themselves in the hotel.
Me: Yep, just make sure they don't get over-stimulated or ingest sugar after 7pm 🤣🤣🤣
He is shuffling round round the office like a condemned man, trying to extract one ounce of sympathy from me. He will receive none. On the plus side, if he conquers his fears and returns intact he will achieve legendary status in office lore ⚔👑🐲
