WOW if MTV was ONLY around to make this one positive thing - I will still appreciate them for doing it - despite the additional garbage they needed to produce.

I had almost forgotten about this album. I thought about it this morning and I decided to give it a listen...
I started at the first song and it gave me goosebumps when the music started.
Damn that guy was one hell of a poet - and his cracking voice is so honest, it's just beyond relatable to someone who grew up feeling outcast or abandoned.
I am so sorry for your personal pain, Kurt... I hope there was yet another plain for you, beyond the realm of this one.
