What bands have really changed music since Nirvana, Pearl Jam, The Pixies, Rage, and the Chili Peppers?

(Forgive me for completely ignoring hip-hop, I’ve tried). The early-mid 90s was it. Then poof.

Dia Lupa is good though. Although her talents could be better utilized in a better genre.

@calicuz What "better genre" do you suggest?

Maybe pop, with a little more soul to it. Maybe some analog instruments, and not just synthetic music. You know, something that will go down in history, like Modanna or Whitney. 🤷‍♂️

@calicuz Madonna and Whitney are two of my all-time favourite singers.

I'm afraid with her amazing voice, she will simply remain, and go down in history, as just another pop star, when her voice is better than that.

@calicuz Are you talking about Madonna or Whitney?
calicuz · 51-55, M
@BijouPleasurette

No, I mean Dia Lupa may not go down in history.

@calicuz Why not? She's pretty good.

@BijouPleasurette

Yes, her voice is great.

@calicuz So why shouldn't she go down in history?

@BijouPleasurette

because her music as a whole is not that great. IMHO of course.
