Me and lostPoet made a song

@ChiefWalksWith40oz Thanks brother.
It's a little ruff and I am still learning to mix with a new program but this is the best sounding recording yet.
Learning a lot doing these.
A lot of firsts with this one. I normally just hammer out tunes off the top of my head but this one I actually thought it out.
The biggest thing I learned so far is I suck as a studio musician. LOL
Man that damn recorder picks up every single little mistake. LOL

@Dainbramadge well for a beginner the mixing isn't what I'd call terrible. It sounds good for what it is. It's good you're working on it though because that shit takes practice. I grew up hanging out in my Tio's studio & that's what made me start writing when I was 8. I never learned the mixing but I used to watch him do it. It looks like a lot to learn

@ChiefWalksWith40oz I have all the right equipment and I have a basic understanding of what needs to happen but the hard part to deal with is .... I can't mix worth a crap.
I don't know if I have an ear for it.
I always get the levels out of whack.
Hell man I can't even get my guitar to sound like I want it to.
I play other peoples equipment and think that it sounds great. LOL
Hopefully it is going to just be a time in the saddle thing and the more I do it the better I will get.
Until then SW will just have to endure. LOL

@Dainbramadge yeah when you don't have the knack for it it'll take more time but I think you can get it. Completely different example but I suck at video games, especially shooting ones & lately I've been getting into them because of my friends. It took me longer than everyone else to get the hang of things but I'm finally noticing I'm getting better. Yesterday I wiped out a whole squad by myself with no health & I was so excited 😂 before I could barely aim lol

@ChiefWalksWith40oz @Dainbramadge Nah man this is all you my poem is kinda weak and pathetic like I was complaining about everything, but you added some balls to the lyrics, and you sound better than what I sound like reciting the poem.

@Lostpoet a lot of poetry is pretty much just complaining. That doesn't take away from the art behind it though. Coming from a fellow writer, I think of it as taking your feelings & creating something you can be proud of

@ChiefWalksWith40oz Yeah and like for me anything that creeps into my brain I write down as quick as I can just so I have something to play around with and I hate 90%of everything I write but every once in a while it is something halfway decent.
