I hope I uploaded the right song. anyway, the first time I heard this song was at a talent show at Hoover Junior High school, San francisco. I was only in fourth grade but my older sister dragged us along. The last act of the show was, according to my sister, "some nobody from 7th grade." He got everyone's attention right away with his strong voice and stage presence while still maintaining that humble shy guy appearance. As the song went on, he gained more confidence as that happened, the crowd got more enthused and before you knew it, that 7th grade nobody may as well have been Philip Baily himself. The only thing that was louder than his singing was the piercing shrill screaming of every girl in the auditorium. He totally nailed it , and from that day forward, at least through his jr high career, he was the king of the school. Every time i hear it, i wonder what ever happened to that dude.
