I hadn't heard. I never got to meet him, but I've been admiring his talent since the 70's. Plus, he was one of the first and few of my "celebrity 'crushes'".

This is different, I know, than the loss of someone you knew and could call a friend. I'm sad to hear this news, and sorry for your loss. 😔
