@uncalled4 I met him around 88 and we maintained a good relationship. We didn’t see each other all the time, but whenever we were in the same area we made point to have sometime together. Then some texts and calls in between.

@JesseInTX I've never had that kind of luck. A friend of mine struck up a friendship with George Jones the last few years of his life. He seemed like such a genuine person.
