I'm very impressed with this singer !

She was playing at our local library,of all places, and I'm as close as a civilian can get to being on the library staff and I've been suffering through a decided lack of live music,I bopped over there at 11am yesterday after not nearly enough sleep in the midst of another pounding round of rain. And she lit up the room and took us away to sunny beaches and reached for the stars with her vocal cords and also did solid versions of "Summer Samba" and "Killing Me Softly"-which I think was the only number she did in English...although most of her between tune patter was understood by our American ears. I picked up her latest CD and she signed it 'with love' and was psyched that I was gonna play it on my radio show and at local events. I told her where to check out the local old growth redwood trees and offered her and her cheerful guitarist husband (sigh) a few free books for the road. I wish them all the best in life, love and their musical journey and am glad I had this opportunity to fill my wounded heart with song.
