@HumanEarth LOL

How did I miss this? A really clever song 😁
HumanEarth · F
I just happen to be a music buff of all years and styles from classical to blues and everything in between

@HumanEarth The best of the best kinda music lover, eh? :)
HumanEarth · F
I have a whole room filled with shelves of records and reel to reel tapes filled just of music and old time radios from the 1920s and up. Records speeds 16, 33, 45 and 78s

Unbelievable! Some say I try to one-up with my responses. I'm old so I've seen a lot of things - all I want to do is extend the conversation. The oldest disc-type record I ever saw was thick and only had one side with the recording. As I recall it was a Sousa record.

Well Ren a big amount of my collection was left to me from my great grandmother who used to work in Vaudeville as a stage hand, did song and dance routines.

She lived from 1881 to 1991

You are a VERY lucky person to have all that history at your fingertips.

@HumanEarth

She was older than Drew Barrymore's famous granddad (1882 - 1942)

I been adding to it before she died. I would hunt rare and hard find stuff when I young and give them to her as birthday and Christmas gifts.

I was the only one in the family that was interested in the collection

@HumanEarth ALL very interesting.
HumanEarth · F
Yeah, but she was never famous like he was, after the depression, she went and became a housewife
SW-User
@HumanEarth Her generation must be the luckiest ever in terms of inventions invented... from 1881 to, well, the day she passed.
