I Love Smooth Jazz

Smooth Jazz Tip of the Day.--

When you are writing a Perl cgi script, and it does not work, and all you get from the server is a mysterious 500 internal error:

0. Do NOT destroy your computer.
1. Do some conscious breathing.
2. Get yourself some cherry-flavored black tea; enjoy drinking two cups without looking at the screen.
3. Listen to "Generation Next" by Jackiem Joyner (on his fine "Evolve" album).
4. Now. Look. at. the. screen.
5. Oh! You forgot 'start_html' in your subroutine!

This is the 2nd time I've seen the term "Smooth Jazz" and as a jazz lover, have to admit I don't know what it is.

@samueltyler2 It’s not really jazz. It’s something between jazz and “pop music”, very melodic, mellow, not much improvisation. Hated by jazz lovers. Dave Koz is a perfect example, Grover Washington is another one.

We didn't stay to hear it, but, there was a Smooth Jazz concert schedule for the day after we left Copenhagen last Friday.

Just looked it up, I distaste Kenny G. I enjoy the big band sound and improvisation. I grew up on Dave Brubeck and MJQ among others.
