I remember some Green Day songs:

I listen to all kinds of music but I recently remembered I enjoyed some Green Day songs in my youth. For example wake me up when September ends, good riddance the time of your life, whatsername, boulevard of broken dreams among others. They were a punk rock band I believe. I liked them. My favorite sad Green Day song is wake me up when September ends. Does anyone else remember growing up with Green Day and similar bands?

Yeah I remember well. My goodness, how I loved music. The bands, the people, the songs.
It’s nice that CDs are so cheap now on eBay, because I can buy all sorts of stuff that I couldn’t afford back then. I like looking at the artwork and reading about who was involved with making the record too.

You would have been pretty young. I grew up in the 90s as a teen and listened to them, but not as much as my brother did. He saw them at least five times.
