Ray Parker, Jr & Raydio, "For Those Who Like To Groove" (1980)

From the artist who would bring the first "Ghostbuster" theme in ‘84…

Nostalgia. This song still makes me feel like dancing. I remember once, when my best friend and our boyfriends went out dancing and this came on. We had the moves back then, and later an older man who’d been watching struck up a conversation with us.

He told us we were beautiful, and he was reminded of when he had gone dancing as a young man in Harlem. He was fascinating, and his presence and stories made it an especially pleasant evening.
This reminded me (vaguely) of the first concert I ever attended - Isaac Hayes.

@Mamapolo2016 did he preform The Wichita Lineman and By the Time I get to Phoenix?
@Briggett This, child, would have been a half-century ago. I remember he was handsome and I liked the music. That night was also when my date proposed marriage.

Any specifics are lost in the smoke.
@Briggett Also, the songs you mention don’t strike me as Isaac’s style. Are you referring to Wade Hayes?
