He was the voice of the 60's, some of his best work came later, but for me, it's the 60's that defines him the best. He should be darn proud of that, i saw a video of him admitting he was amazed at his own skill back then, and that he couldn't do anything like that again.

@Shadyglow The lyrical richness of those long sentences in some songs, like he was having visions, but yeah he wasn't everyone's cuppa tea.
