Can he still capture the feeling of a generation with a powerful song?

I mean I can try to listen to some recent stuff but I AM TRYING TO CONNECT WITH anyone here who ever heard his music then or now...

He was the voice of the 60's, some of his best work came later, but for me, it's the 60's that defines him the best. He should be darn proud of that, i saw a video of him admitting he was amazed at his own skill back then, and that he couldn't do anything like that again.
