Do you think an Apple Mac book is significantly better than a Microsoft Windows computer?

I've been using Windows computers since I started using computers. Every job I've ever had used PCs with Windows. I've never had an Apple computer. It seems limited to me. I use some software that is not available for Apple. Also, the cost of Mac laptops. For my last two laptops, I paid $500 or less, and they both have an i7 processor, 16 GB RAM, and a terabyte solid-state drive.

@WonderGirl The only thing keeping me in windows is the production software. I’ve been using Publisher, PowerPoint and Access since last century. Also VBA. Google Sheets is better than Excel imo, but I don’t like the idea of a cloud based system. Apple Numbers is prettier than Sheets and Excel :)
