Do you think an Apple Mac book is significantly better than a Microsoft Windows computer?

Nope. I've used Linux, Windows, and Apple. Apple costs more plus you get locked into their walled garden. Apple arguably has minor advantages; however they're totally outweighed by the cost and lock-in disadvantages.
