Could you be afraid to be alone in the dark?

I love being alone

And live out in the country with my woods i adore

But
😔...my daughters obsession with scary movies...I now am afraid to be out in my beloved woods...at night ...alone. i went out one night alone..needed to get out to think. Heard a noise

I screamed and ran and...it was..so glad no one around. Now i even carry flash light to go my car at night ...flash it at my woods 🤦‍♀️

There’s nothing in the dark that wasn’t there when the lights were on 😉

I love the dark and being alone. I love taking walks in dark woods. Not knowing my steps, listening and feeling. The unknown doesn’t frighten me. I’m more afraid of the mundane daylight hours of the ordinary.

Not really just depends on the situation, where you're at, why you're there, and all that. Dark woods can be scary. Being stranded in the dark sucks I've had that happen but wasn't scared just pissed..

Yes I used to walk this path to work dark in the early morning, not far, maybe a quarter mile, but a path well traveled by deer, to work. So it was always on my mind getting welcomed by a deer or two.. I had crossed paths with them before and they will get pissed..

Not at all afraid of the dark. Alone or not. I have really good night vision so when i have to get up for things in the dark i dont turn the lights on when i walk through the house. I am afraid of mirrors. Which is lame. I'd like to stop that.

Hello darkness my old friend, I've come to talk with you again... I'm never alone in the darkness - I have me and my old friend and nothing to be afraid of.

I walk into my deer blind in the boonies in the dark. it about 300 yards in. Sometimes I hear critters. Wild hogs and coyotes mostly. The mountain lions are what we keep an eye out for.

I'm fine if there's someone there to talk to. If it's just me, my imagination runs as wild as possible. XD

I'd be more afraid of not being alone, someone or something that i couldn't see would be more scary

I like being alone and often go walking in the dark. I wouldn’t like to be in a dark creepy forest, log cabin on my own though.

I’ve never been afraid of the dark, not even as a child. My eyes adjust very quickly.
