Elvis Presley

Has anyone seen the new Elvis movie? Im a huge fan of Elvis but ,I felt the movie was a bit of a let down. It seemed more about his totally weird manager played by Tom Hanks. I think there was to much focus on his annoying character.

Nah I didn't watch the Elton John or Queen one either. I like all of them but just not interested. I wish they would make another Buster Keaton movie, a good one, the one about him in the 50's was a joke, didn't waste my time on it, saw bits and pieces that was enough.. I know who cares my apologies
@SW-User I watched the Queen movie & enjoyed it,but never liked the Elton John movie, although I do like his music.

I dont care to see it honestly, they have made so many movies on Elvis and documentaries. The older ones seem more appealing than this one truthfully.

Everybody has a Point of View, I guess it was the managers POV.

There been soo many Bio Picks s add bout him. If you seen one you seen them all.
@Jeffrey53 same story same songs but thats the life of Elvis which I enjoy reading or watching movies about. However this movie in particular just seemed a bit weird more focus on col. Tom Parker who was totally weird in it.
I loved the guy who played Elvis he was amazing!

Tom Hanks is a great actor, but I'm sick of seeing him cast in every single picture. Give somebody else a chance.

Nope the last Elvis movie I watched was ,Clambake actually I liked that one.

I heard Elvis was created by the Colonel. So It would be like a movie about KFC without a major focus on that Colonel.
@pancakeslam well thats not a photo of Elvis. Ive seen Elvis perform just before he died & he was sadly overweight & ill. But he still mananaged to be entirely captivating. Sad to see a man burnt out at 42 years of age.

@Cutiepi23 Yikes. It's actually younger than me. He lived an amazing life, I bet.
@pancakeslam Thats what I thought but I dont think Elvis was ever truly happy. I think he had happy moments but in all I think his life was not his own.
