Nice song but play one called "The Last Song" by him and listen to the words.

@HairbrushDiva It was on TV years ago. Can not recall the name of it but was about San Francisco and connected with AIDS and Harvey Milk.

@Swoop62 Lol :)
I got my screen name from these CDs I had for Christmas when I was about 14 or 15. They are out of print now.

@HairbrushDiva Well, good idea for coming up with your name. That was going to be my second guess. Actually never heard of that but do some of the singers.

George Michael also covered this on the Freddie Mercury tribute. His version was very good too. Great song

@SW-User I've heard the duet version by Elton John and George Michael. They play that version on the radio too, but Elton's solo original was on at the weekend.

@HairbrushDiva Yes, by far

For me, Elton was pretty much hit or miss after Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Not crazy about this but it's not bad
HairbrushDiva · 31-35, F
@JohnnyNoir "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" is quite nice. I heard it on the radio recently.

A fine exponent of the of the memorable chorus lyric…

@InquisitiveMind 👍🏻 to Bernie Taupin who put the words to Elton John's songs, and made them sound so 'Elton'.

@SW-User That's not "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me", it's "Your Song".

@HairbrushDiva The first time I ever heard of him! Charted January, 1971. Noticed it. Different. Special.
