At the time he was,releasing singles like "your song" that were n't on albums.

Give it a listeif you can.. much more grown up music imho

@Justme264 I have it. No radio hits but every song was great. No filler

@Justme264 'Your Song' was on the album 'Elton John' (1970). The single was a hit in the first few weeks of 1971 - the first time most of us had heard of Elton. It was one of his first - and to my mind one of his best. It was one of those songs that I took note of when I first heard it.

@supersnipe you are correct I am sure but I only discovered that album recently and I am so impressed by the live tracks on it... demonstrates how fab those 3 were as musicians.... why did he ever sack the other two later on.....?
