Discovering New Music entry #14

Another unreleased demo featuring the late Chester Bennington. I like it! Not surprised about the quality of this tracks since it was made earlier in their career, when they were good. Pretty sad as well, not just because Bennington's no longer around, but they had to make their last album with him their worst, when this song shows they could dish out quality music before. Rest in peace.



Meh. Sorry Beck, but I'm not feeling this one.



Generic-sounding.



Ten entries ago, they had a song that unsurprisingly didn't impress me, since I've never been big on this band. While this song isn't too impressive, I do like it enough to add it, so not bad for them...

Not bad! Not terribly original, but it's hooking me enough to add it.



It was okay. I like the parts when the song picks up, but the rest of it doesn't do enough for me. Not bad though.



I really like the music! The singing's alright, but the music's definitely the highlight. I'll add it just for that.

I'm getting annoyed. The next song had better have some creativity about it, because I'm getting sick of this cookie cutter nonsense I keep hearing.



Much better than the last three songs, but at the same time, I'm not getting into it enough to add it.



Now that's what I'm talking about! Leave it to Alice in Chains' William Duvall to swoop in and save the day.



This is Slipknot? Huh... Never would have guessed it since it sounds nothing like anything I've heard from them before. I wish I could say that was a good thing in this case, but this song does nothing for me. Then again, they never usually do, lol.



Interesting! This band used to be death metal, before shifting their direction to a more accessible metal sound, but this song sounds like they're returning to their roots a bit, Not bad!



It has its moments and kinda reminds me of Scorpions. But overall, it's not that impressive.



Very nice indeed! Sounds a little processed, but I like it.



Much better than the last song I heard from this album!



I love these guys and it's great to see them putting out new music, but this song isn't doing it for me. Maybe when more songs from this album gets released, they'll have something that'll make the cut. Not this time, I'm afraid. They still rock though!



How boring. The guy sounds bored singing it, lol.
