I don;t care what color you are, you can play country if you want. BUT I've listened to Beyonce's new stuff and it doesn't impress me either vocally or arrangement-wise, though she does look good half-naked in the video. @ChipmunkErnie Seriously, how do you know whether or not she "believes in the music" (and what does that even mean) ? She’s from Houston, Texas and is participating in the kind of music she says she’s grown up with. You may not like it, possibly because she’s the artist. But apparently other people do. Her album is #1 on the charts.

@bijouxbroussard #1 on the charts? To quote someone whose name I can't remember at the moment, "Well whoopdie-damed-do." That means nothing so far as the quality of the music. And yes, it's my opinion from listening to some rather boring music. Same as you have your opinion.

@ChipmunkErnie I guess I’m puzzled by the level of animosity. She couldn’t be the only person whose music you don’t care for. I still don’t understand how you think you can tell what she "believes" in, like she doesn’t have the right to be part of that genre. That I don’t get, and it seems atypically unfair of you—imo. 🙁
