Are Coldplay maligned rightly or wrongly

Watched the Coldplay documentary - Head full of dreams. Kind of made me reassess my opinion of them and was thinking can they be classes as a pop or rock band?

I’m thinking they are a pop/rock band.

They are definitely pop/rock and unfairly maligned in my opinion. I saw them live in Glasgow about 13 years ago and they were excellent

It’s like most groups, their music resonates with some people and just doesn’t with others. Like beauty—except in the [b]ear[/b] of the listener. 🙂
