I have read all the books.
Watched all the movies.
Also watched the play.
I might be a fan.
But I might just love magic and how the stories are weaved.
I don't have any identification or overt connect to it.

@SW-User Did you ever read The Wizard of Earthsea?

SW-User
@JovialMoose I have not. Do you recommend it?

@SW-User I read the series (it’s short) a long time ago. Maybe just before the first Potter book.
The stories were very similar but Wizard of Earthsea had much more depth of character than the Harry Potter book I read.
I’ve met others who recommended Wizard of Earthsea to me so others think it’s good too.

@SW-User You should watch both The Golden Compass and Inkheart, both are great stories like in the Harry Potter Universe.

@NativePortlander1970 I started the Golden Compass but that's right when I figured out I couldn't read normal print books without strong reading glasses (which I lose). I should buy that for the Kindle.
Inkheart looks interesting.

@JovialMoose When I started having issues with fine peint my Kindle became a lifesaver. Inkheart has fast become one of my most favorite movies, and as for books, I highly recommend the Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobbs for it's Medieval fantasy sword and sorcery.

@NativePortlander1970 I upgraded to the Kindle Scribe a few weeks ago. That big screen is glorious for nighttime reading. I can actually fit more than 20 words on a page.
@JovialMoose I have the cheaper fire tablet, but it does great.

@NativePortlander1970 Thank you, will look for these.
@SW-User You're so very welcome :)
