I just can't deal with AIC without Layne.
Aysel · F
@TheFragile Layne is with Demri; may they both rest peacefully.

@TheFragile Duvalls got huge shoes to fill. No one can replace Layne but I think he does an excellent job.
I also think if Layne was one half the soul of AIC, then Jerry is the other

@caPnAhab for sure the most of it is simple power chord bends, if you drop the octave to D or A you can play it with just one finger on one string. 🤣
Now the solo and such are a different story, kind of like nirvana mostly easy but some tricky parts here and there.😎

@caPnAhab Thats how you should start off, just getting a feel for her learning what sounds are found where.
Than you will start learning the hand gesture, once you learn G and F you can play along with anything.
I’ve been playing a couple years nothing fancy, the kind of music I like is more metal sounding, I got through the Pentatonic scale working on sweeping and pinch harmonics last time I played.
Most rock songs can honestly be played with 1/2 strings using 1 finger, and a lot of the time you don’t even have to play the same way the artist plays you can play it a whole different way and make the same sound. 😎
