Do you like any songs by R.E.M?

I was a huge fan of their early stuff in particular. I think their first five albums were all great in their own way.

@NigelDoes I like some of their random songs that were never like big hits. Like Lotus....I think it might be off the UP album, I love that one, coz i try to figure out what his meaning is behind the seemingly random lyrics

Like obviously the themes is tying religion and evolution, coz like opposing thumb, dorsal fin, and it is like tying evolution to Jesus, so if humanity is evolved from Monkeys then Jesus was a Monkey, and who ever heard of a monkey thinking of such an abstract idea like one monkey dying for the sins of all the others.... Or maybe I'm totally off the mark and thats not what he's singing about at all

I am not familiar with that song, but I'm going to check it out now. I think Michael Stipe was very underrated lyricist.
