What is the best really obscure band you know?

For me its a US indie shoe-gaze band called The Veldt. Accessible but like nothing else I have heard. They made 2 albums and split up in the early 90s.

I love this question! 😄 I know a whole bunch of awesome obscure bands but I think one of the most intriguing is a band called the one and only PPL MVR.
