I must be getting old

I no longer bash other genres of music, like country. I can accept that there are other musical instruments besides the one that I play, “metal guitar.” And now I generally respect music that uses real instruments to make their songs.

How did I get to this realization? I heard some stuff by the new generations. 🙄 Yup, I’m old...

@samueltyler2 just turned 37 and i guess i posses many talents if im honest. I first got into design with architecture in high school and play guitar as well as piano. Im a computer engineer use to be an aerospace engineer and am very good using technology to create anything i want.

I still hate country music. And I hate rap more than what I used to. I believe I’m more into what I like. Pink Floyd is more than just music. And I still love 80s pop and 90s grunge.

@Jonjdw i try never to say hate. I love the music on Lin-Manuel Miranda, which changrd, to some extent, my dislike of rap. I generally dont like country but wonder what part of that is poitically driven. That genre seems to claim patriotism as their own. The performance last night by Lukas Nelson altered my feelings, for the time being anyway. He seems to be more fusion.

LOL I still bash Disco and most Rap, but I started listening to all kinds of music back in my 20s, so it's not a function of age. ;)
