He was great but Mitch Mitchell was far more exciting a drummer imho. Bonham once said that Barrimore Barlow of Jethro Tull was the best drummer England has ever produced.
@ronisme1 Moon was fantastic,Bonham went to watch him put down a couple of drum tracks while The Who were recording the Quadraphenia album in 1973. They were good friends.
