How about the famous Jimmy Arthur Ordge? Hershel's Hemi Half Ton.

Being a Canadian, I've grown up listening to many songs by Canadian music groups.

Some of my favorite groups include April Wine,Bachman-Turner Overdrive, The Box, Chalk Circle, Chilliwack, Glass Tiger, The Guess Who, The Headpins, Honeymoon Suite, Max Webster, The Northern Pikes, The Parachute Club, The Payola$, Platinum Blonde, Red Rider, Rough Trade, Rush, Saga, Sweeny Todd, Teenage Head, Toronto, The Tragically Hip, Triumph and Trooper..

@Afterlife And also what would nowadays be considered a very controversial album cover.

Afterlife · 70-79, M
@Sidewinder Very apocalyptic

@Afterlife And for an album released in 1979, very predictive, on account of it having a front cover depicting some of New York's most iconic buildings in varying states of destruction.

Ever met Maynard Ferguson? 🎺

Welcome to SW, where good musicianship meets relativistic astrophysics! 🌷

How did you get to meet them.
Btw.
I listened to SAGA. I thought they were awesome.
Don't be late was my favorite.
I also loved the art on their covers.

@CurrentName Maybe not that fortunate. I had a hit pop song stolen in the 90s. I never got any credit or money. A middle aged guy showed up out of nowhere and asked me to play my best song on the piano. Next thing I know it's a hit by a British singer.

@Afterlife oh man. That sucks...
So you play the piano??
Afterlife · 70-79, M
@CurrentName Keyboards, yes. I'm more of a writer than a player.
Saw Rough Trade in the early 80's.

St. John's Newfoundland, front row tickets.

HIGH SCHOOL CONFIDENTIAL was a big hit on the radio back then.

Awesome show.....

April Wine. One of my faves.
And Trooper!

One of my first concerts was David Wilcox. He still looks the same!

Alfie Zappacosta. Brilliant. Some of his stuff is mindblowing.

Gino Vanelli. Yup. Another notable.
