I met a lot of Canadian musicians back in the day

Lee Aaron, Max Webster, Saga, The Spoons, Rough Trade, Glass Tiger and Lighthouse to name a few. I know they met a lot of people but maybe I was luckier than most. i suppose being an amateur musician myself gave me some advantage.

Being a Canadian, I've grown up listening to many songs by Canadian music groups.

Some of my favorite groups include April Wine,Bachman-Turner Overdrive, The Box, Chalk Circle, Chilliwack, Glass Tiger, The Guess Who, Honeymoon Suite, Max Webster, The Northern Pikes, The Parachute Club, The Payola$, Red Rider, Rough Trade, Rush, Saga, Teenage Head, Toronto, The Tragically Hip and Triumph.

@Afterlife And also what would nowadays be considered a very controversial album cover.

@Sidewinder Very apocalyptic

@Afterlife And for an album released in 1979, very predictive, on account of it having a front cover depicting some of New York's most iconic buildings in varying states of destruction.

Ever met Maynard Ferguson? 🎺

Welcome to SW, where good musicianship meets relativistic astrophysics! 🌷

How did you get to meet them.
Btw.
I listened to SAGA. I thought they were awesome.
Don't be late was my favorite.
I also loved the art on their covers.

@CurrentName Maybe not that fortunate. I had a hit pop song stolen in the 90s. I never got any credit or money. A middle aged guy showed up out of nowhere and asked me to play my best song on the piano. Next thing I know it's a hit by a British singer.

@Afterlife oh man. That sucks...
So you play the piano??
Afterlife · 70-79, MNew
@CurrentName Keyboards, yes. I'm more of a writer than a player.

April Wine. One of my faves.
And Trooper!

One of my first concerts was David Wilcox. He still looks the same!

Alfie Zappacosta. Brilliant. Some of his stuff is mindblowing.

Gino Vanelli. Yup. Another notable.
