@saragoodtimes Maybe to you it is, but you need to choose your words better. Neither of them are "communists," AOC is a very progressive young woman with very strong commitments to improving the life of her constituents. saying that the mayor is a "commie" is maligning his attempts at improving things in the city. you may differ with his philosophy, as I may differ with some, but calling hm a commie, is a throw back to an era gone by, hopefully forever.

@samueltyler2 how come you have no trouble with AOC calling Trump a Fascist

@saragoodtimes give it up, have i done that? i might have been so upset at something he did at the time, as for the mayor or AOC, i have not seen any direct evidence of them seemingly enriching themselves by the power of their offices. again, you may be influenced by the rhetoric of others, but let us not red bait, that went out in the 1950s.

@bijouxbroussard I think the story is even more complicated, that the Chicago Transit Authority actually threatened to sue them and made them leave off the transit authority part.
Google:
The band Chicago was never officially sued by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), but they were forced to shorten their name to "Chicago" in 1970 after the real-world transit agency threatened them with legal action over trademark infringement. The band originally performed under the name "The Big Thing" but changed it to "Chicago Transit Authority" in 1968 after signing with CBS Records. Following the release of their 1969 debut album, the real Chicago mass-transit operator demanded they stop using the moniker, prompting the band to drop the "Transit Authority" to avoid litigation. Ironically, the band later considered suing the CTA after the agency used their song "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?" for a bus advertisement without their permission

@samueltyler2 So you knew ? I was thinking you were asking because you weren’t familiar with them. They were one of my favorite groups.

@bijouxbroussard We have played some of their tunes in band. The person who originally told the story said they were sued. Before I responded to you I checked that story out before i said they were.
