@Thrust good thing he wrote so many good songs. Even most Springsteen fans will say he’s not a great vocalist. But he sings with emotion but I think you have to get him to like him.

@4thdimensiondream he pretended to by unfit so others died. He even calls himself a "stone cold draft dodger". He said he is mentally ill, probably from his concussion. Plus he admits to being a tax dodger as well.

@MasterLee I know all about it. Fact is he was disqualified. A lot of people in the country were against the Vietnam war. Donald Trump avoided it as well. As a 19 year old, not able to legally vote yet eligible to be drafted was not fair. There were candidates who would have pulled the US out of the war. Springsteen has admitted guilt over it. I try and separate entertainers from their work and their beliefs. It’s not easy but I can do it.

@MasterLee I just have to wonder if his billionaire father and the foot doctor who rented office space from his dad had anything to do with his deferment. Either way, Springsteen was a dissenter. He most likely would have moved to Canada if he was drafted. I received a college deferment. I think a rifle weighed more than me when I was 18. I never would have survived basic.
