Tonight was good

@Gumba1000 It’s basically what the title suggests.We’re a choir who sing mainly Rock and Pop songs and at this time of year we sing Christmas stuff.We perform locally and further afield.Great fun.

@Gumba1000 No,but it’s fine.Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and we do it mainly for fun.

@Gumba1000 Yes.Although we have been doing more up to date stuff recently.I believe we will be learning a Lewis Capalldi song in the new year

@Survivor69 How are songs chosen?

@Gumba1000 It’s a nationwide organisation,so similar choirs all over the country and we all learn and sing the same songs at the same time.There’s a Headquarters somewhere in England (Surrey?) They decide which songs we do and we get the words online.All our Choir leaders get together and learn them first.

@Gumba1000 I’ve always enjoyed singing and I’ve been having problems with depression and anxiety recently and it helps me enormously.Both the singing and the companionship
