Jazz and Blues Question

"If the color blue had an opinion about jazz music, would it prefer Miles Davis or Thelonious Monk, and why would it express that opinion through the smell of triangles?"

They had such different styles, and Davis had such a wide range of compositions, as much as I loved Monk, particularly in live performances, i think blue would go more for Davis. I don't get the question about triangles.
