Two person band
Jack White woke up one day and thought you know I'm going to start a band that nobody has done before. I'm going to teach my ex-wife how to play drums. Just keep time and keep it simple. Then the guitar that my mom bought me at Woolworths that never stays in tune is what I'll play. I kind of like that guitar now because I have to think about how to play it once it's out of tune. That takes about 30 seconds. One more thing I'll tell everyone Meg is my sister. Like Donny and Marie but not Morman.
Now all that I just wrote sounds like a funny story that's BS. But everything is true. May not went together that way but true nether less. That weird ass guitar he's playing actually came from Woolworths. He never had a good guitar in this band they were all cheap that didn't stay in tune because he likes to play these because it's hard to play. Makes him think about it. Different breed for sure. The White Stripes were going to be a novelty act that will do one maybe two albums for a year or so before people say that's enough. That year or so turned into 10 years. And people were still coming to shows so it wasn't the people that got tired of them it was Megs and her anxiety attacks later on. Got so bad she couldn't do it anymore.
