Best British/American band of all time!!!!

Because I couldn't choose them as either the best British band or the best American band, I've created my own thread!

The Travelling Wilburys

Love the songs, love the videos. When Roy sings his bit in Handle With Care I still........

"I'm so tired of being lonely.........."

Then the rocking chair in one video, with a guitar on it, after Roy had died. Just four left then.

Now just two.

@justcallmenameless1 Here they send themselves up (well, I hope they are!)

The first appearance of Keef is a hoot. Some lovely shots of Charlie Watts, bless him.

(Apparently Keith Richards played with just five strings on his guitar. He explained the technique in his autobiography - all above my head. But he did explain it elsewhere for simple folk:-

Five strings, three chords, two fingers and one arsehole, you've got it!)

I had to do some looking, and I learned that the Jimi Hendrix Experience is a British-American band!

Drummer "Mitch" Mitchell was British,
Bassist Noel Redding was British,
And Jimi Hendrix was an American born in Seattle, served in the Army, who became musically famous in London.
