My parent's would say The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
Me? I'm younger - obviously - and the one band of recent times that I think have changed things up, worldwide, has got to be The Spice Girls.
I know...I know! All you Oasis fans, but didn't they do bugger all in America. The Spice Girls changed the musical landscape, I think, for a while.
Next to them, but again way before my time, would have to be Queen. Every album different to the previous one. All great songwriters. Brilliant sounds etc.
There you have it.
Not really a Coldplay fan, for a singer/songwriter fan.
