Favourite Album

OK, I assume this has been asked before, but what would be your favourite album?

I could wax lyrical about my own attitude of never comparing. Enjoy the rose, then later enjoy the daffodil. Why choose one as "better" than another?

But if your hand was twisted, what is your favourite. Maybe, if you like, post a video of your favourite track of your favourite album.

Me, I'd go for Dylan's Blonde on Blonde, and favourite track...

Some great lyrics in there!

(Although Dylan's great little couplet from "Thunder On the Mountain" beats any found there..

I've got the pork chops, she's got the pie
She ain't no angel and neither am I

No wonder the guy got awarded the Nobel Prize for literature!)

There are so many, and it depends upon my mood. Pink Floyd, Darkside of the moon. Pearl Jam, ten.

Very evocative for me now. Two great mates of mine (shared holidays and so much else) had a music session. We each in turn called upon Alexa to play a favourite track. One of my choices was "Thunder on the Mountain" and I mentioned that couplet from the song. One of my mates laughed, and laughed again when those lyrics were sung. Neither had heard the track before, which surprised me. Both my mates have since died but I remember that session. It means a lot.

🤔............I have so many I could list........I don't just have one......Why? Because I grew up in the 60's and 70's when all the great music was happened.......

@Jimmy2016 I was out of the UK in the early 70's and the rise of Elton John, Bowie and Marc Bolan passed me by. I've caught up since, but for the last two named, only over the past few years.
