@helenS yes, I liked those also. I do feel they continued improve, post Syd, though…with the addition of David Gilmour. Nothing like a Gilmour solo, imho!
@TravisTx They became more commercial and streamlined after the album which contains the song "Echoes", in my opinion. Their later music isn't bad either, just less "adventurous", a bit more middle-of-the-road. Just my 2c
