What was the best decade for music?

I would say the late 60s and 70s as I can't decide on just one or the other.
I still have my vinyl album of Fleetwood Mac's Rumours that I got for my thirteeth birthday in 1977. My older brother Marc go me into them.

Thirties or forties, more top level bands and music composed and played. The music endures today.

@samueltyler2 The swing era was a sweet spot for sure. I have posted a few things by German/Swiss bands from those days.
